A product called bio oil is amazing, try that, it works wonders
deal with them. they might eventually fade with time, but nothing that you can do will help them and it’ll just waste money.
And guys usually don’t even notice them.
Massage the area with stretch marks three or four times a day with moisturizers that contain cocoa butter or shea butter as a prime ingredient. This hydrates the skin, making it more pliant. Again, this is most effective in the initial stage.
Apply self-tanner. It will help minimize the appearance of stretch marks. Exfoliate beforehand for best results.
Vitamin C – certain formulations might increase collagen production, but they’ll only help with early-stage stretch marks; for best results, combine with glycolic acid; taking 500 mg of Vitamin C supplements three times a day may also help.
Look into microdermabrasion. Microdermabrasion works by blowing crystals onto the skin to “polish” the surface; it’s followed by a vacuum tube that removes the crystals and skin cells, stimulating new skin growth. This is effective against older stretch marks
Other alternative therapies do exist (castor or olive oil, seaweed wraps, or combinations of botanicals, vitamins and fruit acids), but they will take time.
I’ve tried bio-oil and still going, it’s been a month and only faded slightly. ;/ Try aloe-vera creams or coca butter!
Use coco butter..no.1 for strech marks.
I found that when I get a tan they are less obvious.
I had a session of sunbeds for my skin (debatable by many die to the risks, but I really thought it worked)
I get a similar effect from fake tan…
Many recommend bio-oil but I can’t afford it at the moment being a student, and the red stretch marks are the new ones. They do fade to white in a few months. You can get creams but I personally wouldn’t bother!
Drink lots of water and eat healthily, do some toning at the gym, and wait. In the meantime, while you are doing this, try some hemp oil or tan and use cocoa butter. Other than that, there really is no killer cure… surgery will leave you with scars.
Vitim E cream helps I have the same problem as you as my weight has yo-yoed alot since I was 13, so I have loads on my hips, legs and tummy as well as the normal ones from puberty under my arms and on my bust. I’ve found v e cream helps to fade them but doesn’t get rid of them completely. I’ve had friends who’ve had babies who say bio oil worked well for them.
There is a lot of stretch mark treatment available on the market these days. Some treatments are more effective in fading or even eliminating stretch marks, but the success of the treatment depends on a few different things. First of all is the color and age of the stretch marks. If they have faded to a flesh color they are much harder to heal. Second of all, ethnicity and heredity play a role in which creams, oils and other products or equipment will succeed in healing stretch marks.
The cheapest stretch mark treatment available is creams made especially for stretch marks. The most effective creams contain ingredients such as cocoa butter, lanolin and wheat germ oil. These creams actually heal and rebuild the damaged skin. While they may not be able to completely eliminate stretch marks, they may at least make the stretch marks fade to a barely visible scar. A good recommendation will be Palmer Cocoa Butter Cream.
Another popular & effective cream that you might wish to consider is Strivectin. It has a bioactive topical formula that has a combination of skin firming agents to reduce visible wrinkles and make skin appear firmer
