glycolic acid can only help exfoliate the outer layer of ur skin. whereas strach marks are much more deep set. there is no solution to remove them infact. if they are relatively new and pinkish or reddish rub vitamin e oil on them several times a day and they shall become visibly lighter and it will prevent new ones. if they are old and white massage coco butter on them at night and they will fade with time but not completely disappear.
drinking water, healthy food or baking soda will not help. streach marks are casued due to a sudden increase or decrease in weight or body shape and once developed there is no remedy as such to remove them completely. u can prevent new ones however by massaging prone areas with coco butter or an anti strech mark cream
Glycolic Acid – Alpha Hydroxy Acid (AHA) is used by dermatologists and skin care professionals to gently shed upper layers of the skin, leading to smoother, softer skin, and a reduction in the appearance of fine lines, dry patches and dark spots. Encourages the production of new skin cells for a fresh, healthy complexion.
